MIGRATION ASSISTANCE

Move to HiQloud With a Plan Built Around Your Application

Every migration is different. A WordPress website, Magento store, custom API or Docker environment each has different files, databases, services and cutover requirements. Tell us what you currently host, and the HiQloud team will review your environment before confirming the supported migration scope.

Four Steps From Review to Cutover

No blind transfers. Scope is agreed before anything moves, and everything moved is checked before the final switch.

1. Environment Review

We review your existing provider, server access, application stack, storage and database requirements.

2. Destination Planning

We help identify a suitable VPS configuration and server location for the workload.

3. Migration Scope

You receive a clear understanding of what can be transferred, what access is required and what remains your responsibility.

4. Transfer and Validation

Supported data and services are moved according to the agreed scope and checked before the final cutover.

Common Workloads We Review and Move

Most migrations come from shared hosting, another VPS provider or a public cloud. The review covers the pieces that actually decide whether a move goes smoothly:

WordPress and CMS websites — files, database, plugins and media

Ecommerce stores — catalogue, orders, extensions and payment configuration

Custom applications and APIs — code, environment values and services

Docker environments — containers, volumes and persistent data

Databases — MySQL, PostgreSQL, MariaDB, MongoDB and supporting services

Migration FAQ

Common questions about moving to HiQloud.

Both depend on the source provider, application complexity, data volume and access. That's exactly why the review comes first: you get scope, timeline and any applicable fees confirmed before work begins — not discovered mid-transfer.

The cutover is planned as part of the migration scope. In most cases the existing site keeps running while data is transferred and validated, and the switch happens at an agreed moment. The exact approach depends on your application and DNS setup.

Typically access to your current hosting control panel or server, the application, and its database — identified during the environment review. You'll know the full list before granting anything.

Application availability is checked after the move per the agreed scope. From there, your services run on HiQloud like any other workload, with platform and infrastructure support available 24/7. Application-level configuration remains yours.
